CPC Delegation Visits Barbados
March 20, 2024Huang Xiaowei, Member of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC), Vice-President and First Member of the Secretariat of the All-China Women's Federation (ACWF), led a CPC delegation during its visit to Barbados, from March 14 to 16. Huang met Mia Amor Mottley, Prime Minister of Barbados, and Reginald Farley, Chairman of the Barbados Labor Party, and also the leaders of several women's organizations in the country.
Huang outlined Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, and the achievements reached in Chinese women and children's development in the new era. Huang also explained the spirit of this year's two sessions and exchanged views with Barbados' representatives on the implementation of important consensus reached by State leaders of the two countries, and measures to deepen relations between the political parties and to enhance communications and cooperation on issues related to women's affairs.
Barbados' representatives expressed their country's will to deepen political mutual trust with China, strengthen cooperation between the political parties and among women, and promote stable and continuous development of the countries' relations.
